Ekatech's leg machine is a standalone production machine for pallet legs. It is easy to adjust the length, number of blocks, and block position through the control panel.

The leg machine eliminates the demanding manual work with nail guns and the need for repetitive and tedious tasks. The machine operates at a continuous and high production rate.

All leg configurations, settings, and parameters are set via the control panel with a touchscreen. New recipes can be easily saved, allowing for very quick changeovers between different leg lengths and types.

How does it work?

Block material is provided by either the LM3017-DS or LM3017-BC. The leg board is fed and placed on top of a block, which is then nailed with the desired number of nails by one, two, or all three nailers. After nailing the first block, the board is transported to the next block position, where a new block is placed under the board and nailed. This process continues until all blocks are nailed. Once the leg is finished, it is fed out onto the holder. The leg machine continuously produces legs until the holder is full, the order is completed, materials or nails run out, or the machine is stopped.

Destacker

The destacker is a compliment to the base machine LM3017, that automatically places blocks onto the leg machine’s conveyor belt.

Block cutter

The block cutter is a compliment to the base machine LM3017.
The block cutter cuts blocks individually, tailored for specific production requirements controlled by the leg machine.

Ekatech's leg machine works excellently both independently and in combination with either a robotic block stacker or an optimized block cutter.
