With many years of experience in automation and robotics, we have successfully completed projects across Europe.

Our history

1999
Ekatech was founded in Hensjö Ekagård, Småland. The focus was on consulting, with project planning in industrial electrical engineering, information technology, and control systems.

2002
Ekatech was restructured into Ekatech AB and expanded its operations by offering the construction of control cabinets and equipment, as well as the planning of mechanical projects.

2009
The business moved to a larger facility in Broaryd, Småland. We introduced our first pallet nailing robot, which then became our focus product.

2015
Ekatech moved to an even larger facility in Smålandsstenar, Småland, which features an even bigger workshop and assembly hall. We can now produce several robots simultaneously.

2020
The company outgrew its facility once again, but this time we didn't move—we expanded instead. We added a brand new assembly hall with storage.

2021
Ekatech AB changed its name to Ekatech Automation AB to make it easier for customers and potential customers to understand our expertise.

2022
At the end of 2022, we reached a significant milestone by selling and installing our one hundredth pallet nailing robot

 

2023
The company expanded with new staff; in 2023, we hired six new employees.


2024
A generational shift is taking place. Our former CEO is passing on the leadership after 25 years, and the company is now run by his two sons, Eric and David.
